On Tuesday I turned 21 years - oh OK then - 60 years old and my wife bought me a mini greenhouse for my birthday. She also collaborated with her siblings and their children and bought me a Huion Note so that I can sketch on the go and have the sketches downloaded to my phone as digital sketches. I was gobsmacked! What a present.

@sooz and @edgarej Thank you both. I read a comment somewhere that you can draw on the pad without it being connected to your phone and when you connect it later it will remember and create the digital version. This is a wonderful toy indeed!

I got it up and running and have a video of me using it but I can’t post it because the filesize limit is 3MB.
I had an interesting thought yesterday. The device won’t register drawings made with a normal pencil, only with the special pen. This means that I can make guide sketches with a pencil, then create line drawings on top with the pen without having to erase anything afterwards and only the pen drawing will be recorded. With the pen, it takes a video as you draw. I am getting some interesting ideas from this!
