"Activate Brush Preset X" keyboard shortcut and toolbar button does nothing

I’ve added the “Activate Brush Preset 0”, “Activate Brush Preset 1”, and “Activate Brush Preset 2” to my toolbar, with the idea of making one a pen, another a pencil, and the last an eraser preset. However, when I click any of these toolbar buttons, nothing happens - my brush does not change. The respective keyboard shortcuts appear to have no effect as well (ctrl + alt + 0 , ctrl + alt + 1, etc.).

What am I doing wrong? I have the Brush Presets docker open and a brush tag selected that has the brush presets I’m interested in tagged. How do I “assign” these buttons to brush presets of my choice?

Those shortcuts come from the “Ten Brushes” plugin, you can find its configuration under Tools → Scripts → Ten Brushes.
