if this made it to krita android main i would consider getting an android tablet.

The source code I found on his website, because it is on a Chinese network disk that requires registration, so I downloaded it and uploaded it. (also possibly unmodified code? I’m not sure…)

Sorry, but I don’t know much from Krita’s Android-Branch, but I’ll try to explain what I think I know.
With luck, the functionality you are looking for may be integrated in the APK you can download from this address, here you will always find the newest Krita nightly version for Android.
The thing is, if I’ve understood everything correctly (so the following is highly speculative), that the things you can see in the video were developed by a developer who is not connected to the “official” Krita-Developer-Team or the volunteers connected to the team. The source code was made available by this independent developer, and it seems that @sh-zam (who is connected to the Krita Team of developers) has implemented something from this code into the code he maintains.
So if you are lucky, then you may find things you saw in the video in the APK I linked above. But please take into account that Krita Android is per se a software in BETA-Status and the linked APK is a PRE-ALPHA-Version on top of this, it can be unstable or may not work on your device!
Maybe there is someone here who is more familiar with Krita’s Android branch and can give you more detailed information.

I tried the build but could not get it working. Ah well that’s okay for now.

I downloaded the signed app but received an error when trying to install. " app not installed as packaged appears to be invalid" whatever that means.
