I recently found out that Akira Toriyama passed. it hit kind of hard because I’ve been a fan of his work since the early 80s when I picked up a copy of Dragon Warrior for the NES. Its tough loosing such an influential talent. So i spent the day painting a tribute. I wasn’t about to mimic his style so I just kind of let the brushes do there thing. I did pull an image from Wikipedia for reference but that’s all. No tracing. thanks. R.I.P.
