I’m using Krita on android primarily, using wacoms movink pro 14 tablet.
and I’ve noticed if you have a pallet window in the side or top bar (long horizontal or vertical dimensions) and if you want to drag the windows out to make more screen space.. it’s almost impossible to grab the pallet edges to drag them to a smaller size.
Is there an easy fix for this?
I suspect it’s a stylus / touch screen issue, I don’t think this would be an issue with a mouse.
Could there be a little button added that adjusts the pallet window to a smaller size or change the touch area around the edge to make it easier to click on.
There’s probably nothing wrong with the device, the area you need to hit to drag the docks by is just really tiny. It is something I’d like to fix eventually with a separate mode to arrange stuff in, since it’s far too easy to accidentally move around docks when you don’t mean to and too hard to do when you want it, but it’s quite involved, since it’s a problem in the underlying system, not Krita itself.
It’s really difficult to move dockers, the toolbox and toolbars. Sometimes I place an expanding spacer as the first element of a toolbar to give me a little extra space to get my stylus in there.
Just in case you’re using the 5.3.0 beta, you have to go into Configure Krita to unlock them.
I noticed there is a quick colour / brush hover circular menu. This might actually be what I need to use instead of relying on the colour dock. I’m also considering getting a keyboard so I can learn and use keyboard shortcuts, for quicker access to stuff.
