Android - How do I change brush icon?

I have an animated brush I made but the icon is the same as another brush and I would like to change the icon for the animated one. How can I do this on Android? I can’t open the brush folders.
Android 11 (Samsung Galaxy S7 tablet) using Krita 4.4.5
@sh-zam or anyone who’s done it?

Sorry, I’m going to poke around in the dark here, I don’t have an Android tablet.

Before creating and saving presets, can’t you create icons to your liking and save them in a place on your tablet that you can access and tell Krita the path to? Now when you save new presets, you can put the path of the previously created icon there, can’t you?

Because in Krita’s preset saving dialog of the “real computer operating systems” you get several possibilities to choose an icon for your new preset or to design it. Isn’t there a “Load Image” button in this save dialog on Android? This way you could give new presets your desired icon, if Android has this option.

This is how I create my preset icons on Windows and Linux, I find Krita’s design options in this dialog too limiting, although I have already expanded the icon libraries.

Thanks for answering.
This brush was created before I understood about that and the icon is a default one and I hadn’t noticed until recently.

Oh, that’s too bad. I started to create and add a collection of my own templates and additional icons for myself after being dissatisfied with the existing icon building blocks several times in the beginning as I said before, but this doesn’t help you.
Let’s see what @sh-zam or another “knowledgeable” person will say about this. I wonder if there’s anything else you can change with your presets on Android.

Hi, thanks for pinging!

It seems you can’t change it within Krita 4.4.5, there is a maneuver you can do with native file dialogs, but I suggest you to not do that — but wait for Krita 5 to be released (which is just a few days).

It supports both access to presets from external file manager and changing the thumbnail within the app.
