That seems to be true.
I have backups set the same way you are showing in the screenshot yet the backup files are found at:
///_Android_data/org.krita/files/Documents/krita-backup
Thanks! It’s good that the files were found, is this some kind of Android feature or a flaw in the program? With a PC, this setting works without problems.
In my opinion it’s an Android thing. It’s so hard to give Krita (or other apps) permission to use folders in other areas.
