I’m a big fan of using the Shift + Middle Click shortcut to rotate the canvas while I work. However, for getting it back to 0 degrees of rotation I need to reach for Numpad 5. It is a bit annoying as the Shift + Middle Click shortcut is more convenient. I’d like to be able to press Ctrl while doing a Shift + Middle Click rotation so the rotation snaps to 15 degrees increment. That way, I could reset the canvas or rotate it perfectly 45, 90, 180 degrees without needing to move my hands.
Cheers!
That is already in krita
. Go to Settings > Configure Krita > Canvas Input Settings > Rotate Canvas and add this shortcut. You just click “add shortcut” and then pick Type > mouse button, Input > ctrl+shift+MMB and Action > Discrete rotate mode. Default shortcut is shift+alt+space+LMB I guess, which isn’t that easy to find
You can also assign an easy to reach keyboard input for reset rotation action, if you want to.
