Animated Series being created with Krita

This show is being produced mostly in Krita with some help from Blender and Opentoonz / Tahoma.

I do not know if the devs monitor this site but if so, I would say if I had to pick one improvement for animation in Krita it would be to have the free transform tool remember its last settings so that a given transform can be repeated exactly (this would make camera moves simple) or even better, for the transform tool to be implemented as a filter so that one could save presets and hit CTL-F to repeat it.

The story looks interesting.

About the transform option I think it sounds like this wish bug -

Thank you! At this point Ep1 is animated, Ep2 is well under way. That’s about 32 minutes of animation mostly done with Krita. Thx in advance for your support, likes, shares, whatever. I want to get the word out as I plan to crowdfund the ongoing production.

I will def look into this bug/feature request item. Thx for the tip! UPDATE : yes it looks like they are asking for exactly the same thing.

As a workaround you can make a transform mask and just drag and drop it to new layer while holding the ctrl key it will copy the transformation to the new layer. But this is not a perfect solution

GREAT SOLUTION! Just tested with a zoom move :

  1. add transform mask to layer and set transform you wish to repeat
  2. duplicate the layer that has transform mask attached
  3. CTL+ drag transform mask to the new duplicate layer (so the duplicate has TWO of them)
  4. repeat as desired
  5. group all layers
  6. layer > convert > convert group to animated layer

worked perfectly. Thx so much for the tip!
