Any way to remove the gray cast when adding filter masks?

Been wondering about this a lil.

Makes it a little hard to get the correct colors in one go. Is there a way to make this gray cast not visible? Is there a setting spot where I can turn off this feature for the filter windows?

This is a KDE thing, to make focus on child window and dim the parent window.

Looks like KDE? That’s an (un-)feature of Plasma desktop effects, it dims all windows that have a modal dialog open, to indicate you can’t directly interact with it right now. Open Syste Settings, go to Workspace Behavior => Desktop Effects and disable “Dialog Parent” in the Focus section.
