It’s the default icc in CSP and Photoshop and probably in others too.
I tried so hard to find it on internet but I couldn’t find any officlal page or link that provide this. Any idea?
*The reason I need this is that sometimes the color break when opening files made in PS. And I also want to use it in Krita too just in general. So plz don’t say ‘you can just use krita’s default icc’ or whatnot.
Hello,
Aparently the Official site from the ICC is color.org, you can search for the ‘official’ profiles there.
About the one you ask, here the link to it: ICC IEC61966-2.1
On another note: Is Photoshop and CSP really using this profile? The ICC themselves warn that this profile was outdated back in 2014, and is kept only for legacy compatibility thou. It was replaced by the profile sRGB2014
Glad this is what you were looking for.
It is possible that PS and CSP changed their profiles to the new sRGB2014, as is the International color profile (AFAIK) that the ICC published. However they kept the old name of IEC61966 to have less friction with old time users.
Maybe use both the older and newer .icc on Krita and compare to see which one CSP, and PS is really using.
It’s kinda strange tho, there’s this one IEC61966-2.1 icc file which I unofficially downloaded, and it shows differently in color space browser from the ‘official’ one I just downloaded from color.org.
