Hello, I feel like a lot of pros also maintain an instagram account. There’s also artstation which I think is one of the current reference for displaying one’s work.
Even as a non-professionnal, I’m actually using those 2.
There’s also CGSociety, but I’m not sure if it’s still super relevant? Seems to be very active still, so i guess it can be a good place to post too.

@Mythmaker, I guess they use VPN’s and that is what I wanted to suggest to @nanochima’s friend too. There are even free browser-plugins that provide access to Virtual Private Networks. Okay, these often have limited speed, bandwidth, or are capped in data-amount per time, but therefore they are free of charge. Another way would be the TOR-Browser to break out of the Great Chinese (Fire)-Wall. And there are probably other ways to get access to such sites.

Since Instagram can’t be used in China, how about Mastodon? I’m not sure if it works there and I’ve never used it, but it may be worth checking out: Mastodon (social network) - Wikipedia (there’s a Wikipedia article about it in Chinese too).

Not sure if it’s available especially in China but it seems very popular among artists from Asia.

I think miskey is using activity pub protocol the same protocol that other site use on fediverse like mastodon so one can follow artists on miskey from mastodon and interact with them.
