Asking for opinions about starting up a krita tips and tricks tumblr blog and the legaility (?) of it

Hello! I haven’t been active in a while on here, but I had an idea I would like to ask about. I’m not sure I made the title the clearest, so I apologize for that.

I’ve seen a bit of a discussion on this forum about krita not having as much marketing/relying a lot on word of mouth for exposure. Today, I had an interaction on tumblr (I mostly post my art only there, and I’m the most active there) that gave me an idea to start up a blog there where I would share tips & tricks with people that they might not be aware of, for various reasons (Not having time/energy to search up things, maybe struggling to find things that are present in another program etc.). I would only want to run this blog on tumblr because it seems like the easiest place to have all the info in one place + the ask feature of the site would be useful if anyone had issues they wanted to ask about.

I would like to ask here, if that’s even an okay thing to do? Since I am not a volunteer in the org, but I found I love helping out people/sharing information. I’m just really not sure if I’m even allowed to do something like this due to issues with affiliation/legal things.

Of course, you can do it, but do not underestimate the work it may require to maintain such an offer for a community of currently unknown size in the long run.
But because there are Krita forums and user-groups all over the world and on different platforms, why not also on Tumblr?
Maybe wait and see what for opinions other users have on it, but I see nothing speaking against doing it.
Good luck!

Thank you for the answer! Almost immediately after posting this, I realized Tumblr Communities exist, and there is actually one for krita . I think I might just make posts there, since they do allow sharing advice through posts. I keep forgetting communities are a thing on tumblr too now.
