It’s finally completed!
Thanks to everyone who helped me migrate to computer based animation, understand Krita, understand ballet, understand video editing, it was journey but it’s complete!
Music by: Christopher Hobson - “Tennesee Waltz” ballet class music
Animation was entirely done in Krita
Compositing was done in Davinci Resolve
Looking to collaborate on new animation projects with new artists for 2023!

You’ve finished it beautifully and the two level background looks good
My Brave and Opera browsers can’t play the video (they say they don’t support the codec) the but the Chromium browser can play it. My video player can play it.
I’ve downloaded it and I notice that it uses ‘702 Rec 709 trc’ colour profile. This may be giving problems in various areas.
If I import it into krita then try to render it out, ffmpeg fails.
I have lockup crash if I try to convert it to the default sRGB colour profile.
Did you originally animate in krita using that colour profile or was it applied by the video editor/compositior that you used?

Excellent animation and synchronization with the music. Just to let you know: it’s running fine in Firefox and I can see it perfectly in full screen too.

I tried to render a smaller sized sample using VLC, it didn’t give me a color space setting and may have used it by default, I’m not familiar with VLC. The longer video they rendered was suppose to be in sRGB.

It looks beautiful. But one note: is the very stiff movement of the accompanying camera. I would recommend expanding the canvas a bit and reassembling the frames by smoothing out the camera jerks, this will help the perception of movement. I think initially this is the right strategy: keeping the character “on the treadmill” is useful for working out details and maintaining proportions. But for the final version, it would be great to make it a little smoother, and it wouldn’t require redrawing materials.

Actually I had Athena dance across the screen, about 4000 pixels wide, then tracked her center.
I wasn’t sure which way to go, so I just made her centered.
Another idea I threw around was to have her dance across the screen, going off screen and repearing far away so the camera doesn’t move or track. I just haven’t gotten around to it and didn’t have enough experience with video editing.
