Right i’m back here to ask a maybe very dumb question.
Did they remove auto frame mode???
I saw the icon disapper since i think during 5.0.x kirta, i paid no mind because auto frame still works
but as soon I got the latest version at the time which was 5.1.1 i think it just stopped auto framing
there was nothing on the internet that could solve my problem and the manual didn’t really help at all
Autokey settings are at spot B.

as i said there’s nothing in there about auto framing unless that auto key is the auto frame which means krita isn’t working as intended
Autoframes are only applied after you manually create your first frame. Is that the problem you were having?
to answer your question no that isn’t my problem
perhaps i made it to vague so let me elobrate
when drawing yes auto frame works but when i want to move it with this button
it refuses to make a new frame which before some sort of patch always made a new frame when i
moved the layer around into a different position
Alright, I see what you mean. Looks like a regression of 5.1.0, as I cannot reproduce the issue in previous versions. I’ve submitted a bug report for you at: 459723 – Using transform/move tool on empty columns doesn't apply a new autokey
