Autumn has been described as “A second spring where every leaf is a flower”. I grew up in Kenya and only experienced first hand the beauty of Autumn when I moved to England.
This painting shows Kiki enraptured by the colours of autumn while Leon adds to the scene with his Huion pen. (which he also used to carve the logos on the trees).
I used Tyson Tan’s pictures for Kiki references and found images for Leon online.
The painting was done entirely in Krita (except for the leaf graphic that I used for the swirling leaf brush). I took a ‘crash course’ in Krita by watching videos by David Revoy and Ramon Miranda (no relation).
