I wanted to know if what I learned had stayed in my head, so here’s my try on some avocadoes. In the first picture, I tried to replicate the photo. It’s good, but there was something missing, so I repainted it in an even more cartoony style.

I feel like some parts are better in the first one, and some are better in the second one… 
I prefer the shadows under the avocadoes and their bumps in the first one, but the colors (well… there’s not much difference) and the style are nicer in the second one. What do you think?

Square avocadoes? The industry should appreciate the concept! 
The first painting is better though. Even when if we are never satisfied with it, the first try is often the best because it contains the stronger creative impulse…

Not saying that I don’t like the first one, but I feel like the second one feels more like “mine”, know what I mean?
