Hello everyone ! :grinning:

For my first thread on this new community, I’d like to share one of the artwork I’m the most proud of (mostly because it’s actually used in a game :star_struck:)

A background for the open-source game The Battle for Wesnoth! This piece dates back from 2018 and I have still to best it.

I like the reflection in the sword! Adds a hint what’s actually going on.

The campaign story this image belongs to is a rather classic one with Elves who had let their guard down due to a long period of peace and Orcs who came to invade as a result.
Zookeper, the person who directed this artwork production and I wanted a calm forest scenery to represent the elves peace and carelessness with a less visible reflection of an Orc leader as foreshadowing of the upcoming conflic.

I hope I got the effect right! :sweat_smile:
