Hello everyone! I created this as part of an album cover in October, and it just released. I’m most proud of this landscape section so I wanted to post it here\╭◜◝ ᵕ ◜◝╮/

The album is Beltway by the talented Chahzel. Think synthwave! I enjoy the tracks Mikoshi and ADU most (spotify, youtube, apple)

and just in case anyone was curious I’ve also got some development thumbnails below (it went through a lot of stages, but I like these mini-drawings the best):

Throughout this I found out that Tombofnull’s brushes are AMAZING. I’ve been sleeping on grit/grain/stippling so much. Colours just blend so nicely, 100% recommend. I also used Cloom’s oversplash for the right-wall texture in the illustration, and Ico-dY’s now free Krita Expansion pack (I used the Alt) Carbon dash to make scratches on the window in the distance/left, and Wat) Dry Reboot is a permanent resident in my favourites now. Also, almost all the writing in there is translatable!

The entire landscape is fantastic, downright overwhelming, and the vehicle interior (the album) is really cool too! And all the other detailed miniatures are exactly to my taste! All in all, a great job. Congratulations!

Thank you everyone!!! @chenik_illustration to answer your question it took… very long xD I didn’t keep proper track but I’d estimate 40 hours, and more if you include all the thumbnails and early design work. Honestly just thank you all so much💜
