Hi there, first of all amazing paintings 
and also thank you very much for sharing the timelapses. I am self taught and has been painting with chaotic process because I follow different free tutorials from different artists with different mindsets that emphasize different things.
Now that I see a process that is done multiple times consistently, I can finally make connections of some of the knowledge that are scattered in my brain, namely background color, blocking the silhouette, and separating areas with different values in the early part.
