@sooz Of course! :slight_smile:
Don’t know what descriptive lines to add? Other than I did it with one brush, basic round.

This was my favorite of your entries. I just love this bold hard round style! :clap:

@del It’s the most fun too! I found it intimidating at first, because it felt like I had less “control” of the shapes the brush put down. But I found that if I just concentrated on getting the main shapes and colors in with larger strokes, there were lots of “happy” mistakes that I liked. :grin:

@sooz , it might be good to add some explanation of what descriptive text is to your script asking for it?

@Elixiah :
The alt text or image description text is meant to be shown if the image is not loaded, or read by a screen reader for the visually impaired. (It’s also typically shown when hovering over it.) It should describe the meaning or intent of the image without necessarily getting too much into details. Maybe imagine trying to explain the image to someone over the phone.

So for instance a short one for this might be something like “Painting of a tree-lined mountain pass done in a flat shading style” (I’m not sure, I don’t have experience writing these). But it can be longer or short as long as it gets your idea across.

Hi @freyalupen

You’re so right, my permission form needs an alt text explanation. I hope you don’t mind if I use some of the text you wrote. I especially love the phone analogy.

@Elixiah I’ll use the description that @freyalupen wrote. It’s really good! I usually craft these myself but I started asking winners to write them only recently as some of them are really hard to describe – like when it’s a fantasy piece or fan art of something I don’t recognize, I probably miss all the salient points.

Thanks, @Elixiah and @freyalupen

Mastodon and X have alt text if you’d like to see how this is used.

Ok… I know what you mean now. But, I’m not very html savvy, so where do I put this text so it shows as alt text?
