I walked out onto my back porch one day and saw this huge dragonfly hanging off the window screen. It hung around long enough for me to get a few snapshots of it. I thought it would make a nice Krita challenge. The name Black Saddlebags refers to the coloring on the wings.

Love this perspective. It caught my eye. And I know what you mean about their “saddle bags”. I see them all the time and have to double-take because those markings make them appear much bigger than they are. For predator deterrent I imagine. Very nice work.
