Blenko Vase with Flowers

This is another one of my beautiful vintage orange Blenko vases. I set it in morning sunlight with a flower arrangement for my reference for this piece.

Gorgeous as always, Fern! Glassware and light can be such a challenge, but you never fail to nail it! :raised_hands:

This is beautiful! I love what you did with the texture in the shadow too!

Exquisite light work chef’s kiss
though I wonder if there should be some backsplash? A little reflection?

Thank you! Not sure what you mean by backsplash reflection?

Bad use of words on my part. I simply meant reflection of the light back onto the wood on the other side of the vase. Of course, I don’t have the reference photo, so I don’t know if that would actually play out in real life like it is in my head.

This is the best example I could find with a quick google search.

You see what I mean, with the very slight reflection of light at the base of the vases?

Ok, now I see what you mean. Yes, in the reference, I do see a faint reflection on the other side of the vase on the table in the shadow. Didn’t really notice it the first time. I’ll try adding a little in that shadow and see how it looks. Thanks
