I’ve made it!
It took a lot of work, planning and figuring out, but it’s finally ready, tested and ready to go!
(I’ve also made a cute illustration for the cover )
I think I’ve finally figured out how to make braids/rope brushes to turn and coil smoothly without breaking! (Well, almost without breaking I’m not a magician, unfortunately.)
This bundle contains:
20 brushes for drawing different braids
20 brushes for tails
20 brushes for hair accessories (hairbands, bows and such)
Also, if you want to test this bundle out before buying, there is a demo available with 5 braids + 5 tails + 5 accessories. You can use it freely in all your work as you wish.
Due to having limited funds I want to try the demo before I buy a whole pack, but demo is a png art. you listed it was 5 brushes out of the set so I’m a bit confused. I’m still very new to krita as a whole.
It seems you made a mistake downloading the demo. The bundle is the last file shown in my screenshot, and you can not download it from Dropbox out of the ZIP archive LM_Braids_(demo).zip in which it is contained.
So, to download the bundle LM_Braids_(demo).bundle from Dropbox, you should download it via the button I marked with a circle, this will download a ZIP archive named LM_Braids_(demo).zip which you have to unpack first to find the bundle in it together 4 other files which are PNGs.
If your operating system is Android version 13 or 14 or Windows 11, you should read the following carefully, as it can be very confusing!
If your operating system renames the bundle you unzip from the archive LM_Braids_(demo).zip to (which is then unfairly the same name) LM_Braids_(demo).zip instead of LM_Braids_(demo).bundle, which can happen with Android from version 13/14 onwards and cannot be ruled out with Windows 11 (renaming the bundle to LM_Braids_(demo). zip), then you have to rename the unzipped bundle back to LM_Braids_(demo).bundle.
(Yes, I know this can sound very confusing, but Google and Microsoft seem to believe that they have to patronize their users and decide for them what Microsoft and Google think is right and best for their users. (Which may often be the case, but not always, as with such things.))
If you need help in unpacking a ZIP archive, then please write me a PM and tell me which operating system you use.
But usually, you can open the downloaded LM_Braids_(demo).zip with the Android Files-App and Windows Explorer via a double click on the downloaded ZIP archive, it will then be opened like a folder, and you can copy the things in that folder to your desktop or any other location on your computer you want. From that location, you can import it into Krita via Settings → Manage Resource Libraries... → + Import.
Thank you Hun, I feel silly not knowing what I was to grab and currently I’m able run the newest edition of krita. Also while I wanted to be more descriptive in my first comment for some reason it kept getting halted by a limit of some kind so I chose to summarize as condensed as I could.
I’m sorry to do things this way but I’m struggling to find how I would up load the art in which I used your sample in. Birthday Ball is posted on my Deviantart account. I ask you forgive my shaky lines. as my eye sight deteriorates its becoming harder and harder to draw digitally and my traditional is also declining. But thank you for these samples. When I can I’ll be back to buy the bundle. I know 3$ is a very reasonable price but currently I can not seem to spare even small amounts with my current bind.
