Bristles wet texture brush

I was watching a video of Elias Silveira on youtube, and it shows a so called bristles wet texture brush name on the status bar. I did a search on my bundles and i didnt find it. Does someone knows where is it or if it changed the name? Thx in advance.

So, to be able to help you here, I need either the exact name of the brush, also helpful would be a screenshot of the thumbnail of this brush preset in the Presets Docker, preferably in high resolution.
So far, I can only offer “bristles wet”:

Could it be ‘Wet Bristles Rough’? I only have the default brushes on my laptop so if it’s from a bundle I don’t know which one.

looks like something from the Basic 3 bundle. Could Elias have added texture to the “Bristles Wet” and renamed it for himself?

Looks like he made a copy of “Bristles Wet”, renamed it “Bristles Wet Textured”, so he could change the texture to suit his desired look

@DMY169: Ah, you too found a video with that brush! But it seems to be a different video than “
 Presente de Natal
”?

Unfortunately, the pattern/texture isn’t shown. :frowning:

But okay, after we had to search for a video and thus the icon of the preset we were looking for ourselves, thanks to the endless support of the OP  , we have now also found a corresponding video (videos?) after skimming through videos I dislike, in a language I don’t understand, and so I, similar to @DMY169, can also say with a very high degree of probability:

  1. this is a modification of the original Bristles Wet.
    Furthermore, I can say:
  2. this modified preset was not passed on to many others by the person who created it, if it was passed on at all. But I am quite sure it was not offered on an internationally known platform, at best in a national forum or similar. Because I’m very sure that otherwise I would have it.

Why do I say that? After unsuccessfully searching the 5k or so presets in a special Krita installation, which is prepared for such searches and holds most brushes I own, and since the brush in the video resembles the icon of the two upper presets shown in my screenshot above like the third triplet, it is unlikely that it is widely available. But to be sure, I then had my PC search 500 GB of Krita resources on my hard disk for this preset, but to no avail.

This is the video, where Elias Silveira paints like Frazetta.

I thought it could be a regular brush from krita since its name is in english.

Why don’t ask in his YouTube-Channel for the brush, more than a “No” or no reaction can’t happen, and you can only win but will lose nothing. I would at least try it.

I did it already, before i asked here.

What a great YouTuber

Looking at the brush in the video you posted, it appears that the brushtip is the same as “Bristles Wet”, which is part of default 3 bundle. Now the texture would be harder to determine and unless Elias uses the same pattern/ texture every time or noted said texture, even he might not be able to tell you the exact combination used for that video. In comment #6 is a screenshot of Elias changing/ testing a new texture for the brush in one of his videos. To me, it looks to be the texture is not standard (always used) and it might all be your preference. What looks good to you.

He answered me and told it was the Krita_3_Default_Resources.bundle and it would be a standard brush
but i asked him if he didnt used a custom texture on it. Lets wait
Anything new i update the post. Gotta play with that later anyway.

He doesnt remember.

Thanks for the help ppl!
