Hi everyone! I’ve recently started using Krita and found one unpleasant bug. Whenever I click on customised Inc 25 brush (on a main screen, in settings), Krita immediately crashes. So, I can’t remove or change this brush in any way.
Does someone know how to fix this? The problem remains even after the latest 5.1.3 update.
Welcome to the community @jester_nata
Thank you for sharing this issue.
If this is reproducible please open a bug report on bugs.kde.org and give a link here too.
Meanwhile let check how to help and find a workaround. we would need a bit more information, what are the parameters can you show a screenshot? Is the brush tip image too large?
I can’t enter a window with any info of this brush since it crashes immediately. The only thing I can show about it is its icon and custom name (see attached image).
Can you put the .kpp file of this brush somewhere and give us a link. and may be also attached that brush file to the bug report so that developers can inspect it. Sorry I should have said this earlier.
Thanks for the link of the duplicate. As you can see the bug reporter never gave any more information. So it was closed. In order to avoid that happening to our bug lets us add the required information. As @halla suggested in the duplicate bug report
Open Krita, click on the help menu, click on the Report Bug entry. In that dialog there’s a large text field with information about your system. Select everything, copy it and paste it in this bug report.
Copy paste the information that is given in the bug report dialog. it also contains when krita crashed etc it might help the developers.
EDIT: nevermind I see that you have added that already. Just share the brush file too.
Just to confirm things. I see that there is unusual dpi value can you try clearing recent document list, and then creating a fresh new file with A4 size with default values and try that brush.
