Brush flow issue (dots)

The issue is, that some brushes make such a dotted line, when I want a bigger size. Not sure how to fix it and have not found any similar question eventho I assume it has been probably been a topic already. I am using Krita 5.2.9

Hmmm, have you checked what the spacing is set to in the brush preset settings?

It is always a good idea to name the brushes in question.

But dotted lines are sometimes pointing to missing brush tips.

The brush is from the BBB.bundle named half hard

I tried the BBB bundle… More than half of them don’t work properly. Like @Michelist said, there’s a missing brush tip problem. And looking at the bundle’s comments, it seems to be a known problem?

[BBB_preview] Based on best (in my opinion) basic brushes, which I import from my photoshop pack. You don’t really need anything else, except these - no “grass\heart\star” brushes etc. Only useful smudge brush, soft\hard\half soft round brush for big masses and few texture brushes for various tasks, no matter is it illustration or concept art. Texture brushes based on brushes of Frantseva, Kolesov and Bekkaliyev brushes.

But for the brush that is in question here, “half hard”, there is no external brush tip needed, it must be a settings issue.

The spacing was not activated and did sadly not help

You are in the “other” spacing:

Try the spacing shown below instead - either activate auto or reduce the slider. Maybe that helps.

Okay, the brushes appear all the same, when I click that. It really seems like the brushtip is missing

I don’t have that brush set, so I don’t know if something is missing, but in your screenshot the brush tip is set to Auto. This means it is using a simple filled circle. If you like a texture there, select Predefined and choose a texture you like.
And if you scroll down on the left side of the brush settings, then you find a Texture part. In that one you can activate Pattern and choose another additional texture.

There is the app Krita Brush Info, this app is able to compare two Krita brushes, even in bundles, and then gives an output on the result of that comparison. But it will also show you the info of a single brush that you inspect with Krita Brush Info.
