I did something, and now my brushes tab is gone. I do not know how to swap/change my brushes and the menu for it has disappeared. I have attempted to re-dowload krita but it did not work. Help!
First off, these terms have different meanings:
-
menu: the strip of text just below the title bar. Each word opens a submenu, and if you explore those submenus you’ll find all kinds of options. The Settings menu for instance has a Dockers menu
-
dockers: the panels that are by default on the left and right hand side of Krita. One of those panels contains the brush presets. The Dockers menu will let you open panels that were closed.
-
toolbars: Krita has two toolbars, both visible by default. They are between the menu and the the rest of the window. You can add new buttons to each toolbar
To learn more about Krita, check out the manual: https://docs.krita.org.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Krita is a futile exercise. You’re replacing a bunch of bytes with exactly the same bytes. If you want to reset Krita to default, check out this faq entry: https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration
Ah i see, I managed to fix the issue, thank you so much!!
