Description of the issue (you can include screenshots):
So the issue is that every so often, the brush would offset from the pens cursor after I adjust the size of the brush. I’ve recreated this bug a few times too and can confirm that it only occurs after I adjust brush size. The only way to fix it is to close and reopen Krita which is a huge pain since this bug happens a lot to me.
Also the pen isn’t offset at all when im in the reigon outside of the actual canvas. Any fix?
I don’t know what to say as I’m not an experienced, but may try once.
Please try doing these steps:
Update Drivers: Ensure that your Wacom drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with software like Krita.
Krita Settings: Check your Krita settings. Go to Settings > Configure Krita > Tablet Settings and try different options under “Tablet API” (e.g., Wintab vs. Windows Ink). Sometimes switching these can resolve cursor issues.
Brush Stabilizer: If you have the brush stabilizer enabled, try turning it off. Go to Tool Options and see if disabling the stabilizer helps.
Reset Krita Configuration: Sometimes, resetting Krita’s configuration can help. You can do this by renaming the kritarc file (located in your home directory under .config or Library/Preferences on Mac). Krita will create a new configuration file the next time it starts.
Pen Calibration: Recalibrate your pen in the Wacom settings. Ensure that the pen is properly aligned with the screen.
Check for Updates: Make sure you are using the latest version of Krita. Sometimes bugs are fixed in newer releases.
If none of these steps work, I think it would better to wait for any other to help you as my knowledge is limited here.
