I don’t even know if this is possible, but something that I think could be helpful to a lot of people.
Many of us have stockpiled a lot of brushes. I try to organize mine by function. For instance I have a tag of just fur. Or a tag of just stamps. However even my fur brushes there are almost 150 of them (just two different bundles downloaded).
What I would LOVE is a tool that would give me a reference page, showing each brush. strokes in different directions (fur esp this matters - not all brushes are directional and some are counterintuitive), AND more importantly the most time consuming part if I were to do it myself - a label under each one with the brush name.
Switching from the brush back to either the text tool, or a ink brush to write the name is what would take the most time.
I would think a script could be coded to do this. I don’t know enough about the plugins in Krita, or the details of coding just enough to know that kind of thing should be possible.
For anyone who is very visual, having something to look at and see - that’s what that brush does, instead of some random picture, would be much better.
