Brushes & Bundle - how to install?

I have DL a few brush packs most are kpp I know those go in resource file but there are some labeled bundles and I feel I have placed them into the folder prematurely? Do I have to do anything before putting them in there?
I hwent back to the place I got them but no mention of any need to do anything different that I noticed so have I done something wrong by my estimate I should have 200+ brushes but I have less than halk that.

Hi

Menu Settings > Manage resources…

And then Import resources
Normally Krita will place resources in the right place

What file folder should they be in to start or is then not important? Can the bundle file be deleted afterwards or do I keep them in the folder they start in?

If you have all your files in c:\temp for example, and import them, krita will place a copy of these files in the right place and made import
Once imported, you can delete from c:\temp if you want

But do not delete files from krita’s directory

For bundles, it may be better to use Settings → Manage Resource Libraries which is specifically about bundle management:

There, you can import bundles, activate and deactivate them and create your own bundles (a complicated subject).

Deactivating bundles will remove their resources from the listings which can be of help to reduce the number of brush presets shown in the docker.

I had seen that but I’d be lying if I said it made sense to me is there a tutorial I can read or watch to help me understand it better?

Maybe this? →

You wanted something to read about, for YouTube I’m the wrong guy, there may be others who can support you, I know there should be a good video from @RamonM, but idk the title.
