I’ve just installed krita but it says I need brushes since the app doesn’t have them. I don’t know how it works since it’s my first time using these kind of apps, so I’d appreciate some help! ![]()
Hello, a little search will give you all informatiou you need How to install brushes - #4 by KritaCreature2023
I believe their actual issue is that Krita says there are no resources packs available which should not normally happen after a fresh install.
Not sure what’s currently going on but the support forum is full of people reporting that their Krita suddenly has no brush presets anymore.
I’m starting to suspect that this is some kind of interference, since many people are having the issue and it seems to be Windows-only, but no developer can manage to reproduce this.
@Lilys_do0dles are you on Windows and are you using OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or some similar service? OneDrive may have activated itself without your knowledge or consent. If yes, does turning those off start to make Krita work? If not, is there any other program you are running that you could be interfering?
