I want to do a challenge that I have to pick color from a grayscale distorted palette and paint without knowing what color I use. But the color picking keeps showing the color I chose. I need it to not show color or just keep it in grayscale, like Photoshop. Can I do anything about that?
I don’t think there’s an option for that. You can apply a system wide grayscale filter instead.
Search for ‘color filter’ in system settings in macOS or Windows.
This desktop effect works for KDE Plasma although not perfect and shows colors still here and there but would do the trick for your purpose:
