I think I’m supposed to make it very clear that my version is unofficial and remove the Krita icons and splash screen but can I draw my own Kiki or should I draw a different thing like an evil Kiki I dont want to make the Krita gods mad

Yeah I was going to release it publicly because it seems like thered be a use for a krita that could edit autotiles. The kinda work I need is going beyond a simple plugin, if I cant draw my own kiki Id be sad but understand :((
The question is, why don’t you want to incorporate your changes into the main krita branch?
I never thought of that and Idk everyone online seems real exclusive I just wanted to share what Im working on
If you have implemented a change, which could benefit the community I don’t see why you should not want to add it to the software. That way you don’t have to maintain it yourself. The question is, how you implemented it and what the developer have to say to the code, but as long as it was not vibe coded there shouldn’t be any problem.
the other problem is that Ive touched painting internals and some other krita systems in a way to make the workflow do what I want. Its not currently a neat plugin that I can hand over Id have to make it more generic or work with someone from the krita team and I just want to get my workflow going and share it
If you create a merge request, the packages should be building, so that anyone can test your implementations.
