I’ve been trying to get krita and it says this; “This file type is not supported. Please visit the Chrome Web Store to find an app that can open this type of file.” Do you know what app does? I couldn’t find out which apps do.

What system are you on? And which file have you downloaded? Can you maybe make a screenshot that shows your directory you downloaded the file to?

I couldn’t find any other topic talking about it, but I also have a problem with downloading Krita. The download link on the website doesn’t work. I’m not sure if this is a temporary problem with the website itself or mayby it is disabled because you should buy it from the app store/steam, but nothing happens when you click download. It just directs you to the post download page without download link or anything.
There is the option to download every single piece seperatly, but that is just not something I’m planning to do.

I’ll assume your problem is not to do with the Chrome Web Store.
The website, https://krita.org/en/download/krita-desktop/ is working fine right now, I’ve just tried it.
I don’t know what you mean by “downloading every single piece separately”.
It may have had a problem at the time you tried it so can you try again?
Make sure you don’t have content or script blockers running for the site, or set your browser security plugins to Allow or whatever is needed.

It did work now yes, altough when I install it, it gives a warning saying it is the x32 bit version, while the downloaded .exe file itself says its the x64 bit. Wich is weird, but it does work now.
There are still some issues with brush lag (with fast sketching, the lines tend to go verry straight from start to finish, even with brush assist off). I am animating, so that might have something to do with it.
But that is another topic, which I will try to figure out now.
