I am trying to transform a group layer that contains 4 file image layers however Krita complains about and empty layer. I tried the Select/Deselect “fix” to no joy. Any advice. thanks much.
Found In Krita manual:
“If you want to transform a file layer, you need to apply a transformation mask to it and use that.”

Converting a file layers to paint layers first, should also work. File layers are embedded files and transforming without a mask is destructive, it would have to alter the original file in order to work which is dangerous.

Nah! I’ve been using Krita for some time, and there is a lot I didn’t even know… and I’m sure there is still a lot for me to find out! people often ask about stuff when it can be easily found in the manual, you’re not alone!
