hi! i want to change the default “Delete” button shortcut but i cand find the option in the shortcuts menu. i tried to find an answer on google and on the forum but i didnt find the exact name. could u help me? tyvm!
You can do this by adding the “clear” icon to one of your toolbars, or tap the Edit menu and choose clear or tap the delete key on your keyboard. Is that what you are looking for?

By the way, the icon you may search it is this one:
And you’ll find it in Krita under ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Configure Toolbars…’’, as @sooz already mentioned, there you’ll find it on the left side pane.

Hi there. Before the thread expires, I want to chime in and let you know you can change the clear layer button. If you go to settings > configure krita and then click keyboard shortcuts, search for “Clear” and you can swap it out for something else. I change to the tilde “~” key when I’m using a tablet with my right arm and have my left arm ready for shortcuts on the left side of the keyboard because i find it more convenient that way.
