Can't import SVG files as resources

I can’t import SVG files in the resources. I go to manage resources → import resources → choose file → (import in) symbol libraries. The result is an error message: “The following files couldn’t be opened as resources:”.

It’s the first time I try to add something in the library, as I’m new to Krita. I’ve tried both files made with Inkscape and others I’ve downloaded online. Both Krita and Inkskape are the latest versions. What am I doing wrong?

You need to make an .svg symbol library.
Inkscape has that facility.
