Celsys Tabmate with Krita - it works!

After investing in first CSP, then Rebelle, I’ve arrived at Krita. My Celsys Tabmate has been idle for a very long time.

After finding Antimicrox, I’m happy to report that this slick bit of software allows the Tabmate to be used with any software, most importantly Krita. Antimicrox is not specific to Tabmate, so if you happen to have a game controller you want to use as a handheld shortcut device, it will work with those too.

I’m NOT affiliated with antimocrox in any way. Just happy to be using my Tabmate with Krita. I’m posting this in case there are others out there using Krita that also have a Tabmate laying idle.

Thanks for sharing!

Looked at it, but it seems Linux exclusive?

I’m running it in WIN10

How do people use a device like this? One hand on the tablet, the other hand on something like Tabmate?

The Tabmate fits in your hand and is designed to operate with one hand. So, yes, one hand with the stylus, the Tabmate is in the other.

I’m not recommending this device, although I really like it. I posted this in case there are folks that already have one that they would like to use outside of CSP.

Yep, I found it.

So cool! Now if only we could get them to make an android version.
