Did you by chance do any kind of construction for the first picture? It would be helpful to see how you approached that foreshortening.
Sadly didn’t get to save an image of the earlier steps, but I laid down some rough outlines/shapes. This was very tricky though! I was trying not to flip my reference image to see how well I can understand the form this way. But my brain and hand were thrown off a bit; I have the nude originals of some of the earlier stages in my Instagram, and you’ll see I had the head a bit too large. The face was the trickiest aspect to get right while upside down and at some point I stopped resisting

I’m trying to learn how to use the gradient maps rly wanna improve in my coloring 
It’s just a lot of experimenting and tinkering, figuring out what colors work together. But for me it goes hand in hand with also laying down the proper values first. Try working with complimentary colors
