Hello Krita Artists:

Nice to meet you, I’m Mauricio Flores, a Mexican independent animation director. The amazing @RamonM has already kindly posted some of my work in this forums (The Rustle of Leaves Shortfilm. Krita involved 🥰). It’s great to be part of this community, I´ve been using Krita for a long time, I love this magnificent piece of software and I’m also an eager promotor of it’s use here in my country. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself briefly :).

I’m sharing with you a simple character I designed for an animated project I’ll be working on soon. The idea is convert him into a 3d asset in Blender for anyone to download and play with (animation).

Curious do you only do animations in blender or do you also use krita for animations?

Thanks a lot @ArtsySock , great to know you like it! For now I only use Blender for animation, although it would be nice to animate some in Krita, maybe in the near future :D.

I really like the design! Makes me think about good old Disney cartoons, which I love! I especially like the shading/lighting and how gentle the colours are. The texture on the background is also very nice. Amazing work!
