I just ran into this rename problem! Glad that I read this post before trying them! (I used Opera browser on Android and it appended the .png at the end and wasn’t visible to me until I scrolled to the end of the file name.)
It is a problem with Google Drive, but no need for other file share link. Google automatically changes the .kpp file to a .png.
You can just change the extension from .png to .kpp and it will work.
a Beautiful brush, congrats. Is really useful and it feels very good.
I have added speed in the settings and control the speed of my tablet in Krita 5.1 It works really good. The areas in orange are affected by the speed. Maximum brush speed 15px/ms in my laptop with bamboo pen.
This is affecting the size. Same thing in Flow and done.
Is something that i discovered while testing and i say WOW Speed now works better and this could even create better brushes. Amazing not so visible feature that adds more real feeling.
Ahh I noticed you use pen pressure kinda inverted. I had to mirror and change values, so it works for me. Instead of 20% and 27% both in Size and Flow, start with mirroring the curve and change to 20% and 73%. For me it makes more sense the more I apply pressure, the more opacity and size increase. Very helpful by the way; it works great. Curious about what hex for the color you are using for blue. I’m currently using #b4cae3 for a darker blue pen.
@Joseph_Adams: If you are using Windows and the display of file name extensions is disabled, which has been the default setting for years¹, you may have problems renaming them correctly, at least if you are using Windows 11. This screenshot, “recycled” from another topic, shows where you can enable them in Explorer, and also the display of hidden files and folders²:
After you enabled the view of file name extensions, you should be able to rename the downloaded “PNG’s” (okay, literally a brush preset file, with the file name extension “KPP”, is a PNG, but with added information that makes it a brush).
So
“1)_Realistic_Standard_Ballpoint_EXPER.PNG”
and
“1)_Realistic_Standard_Ballpoint_EXPER_PressureB.PNG”
get
“1)_Realistic_Standard_Ballpoint_EXPER.kpp” “1)_Realistic_Standard_Ballpoint_EXPER_PressureB.kpp”
again.

¹Because some freaks in Redmond think it is evil if a user can see them. A recent discovery showed, starting with Windows 11 they freaked out completely, and it is only possible to change the extensions if you explicitly enable their view beforehand.
²Yepp, there are evil files and folders too… And you’ll see them after the suggested adjustment. Do not look at them too closely, lest they bite you.
