I’ve just bought a Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 that I am using with Windows 10 Home.
I would like to know if there is a way (such as a debugging tool/app) to check pen tilt and rotation support, e.g. by direct visual feedback or values log without using the brushes …
I don’t have tilt or rotation so what I’m about to say is half remembered stuff and guesses:
In Settings - Configure Krita → Tablet settings → Open Tablet Tester, the tablet event log doesn’t record any tilt/rotation values, only pressure (P=), but I may be wrong there.
If you do Settings → Dockers and enable the Log Viewer docker, there is an icon at the lower right that lets you select which types of event are recorded and an icon at the lower left that enable/disable recording.
I don’t know if that will show anything useful to you.
I can understand why you’d want direct value readings but controlling the brush Opacity/Size/Etc properties using the Tilt/Rotation inputs could give you a very good idea of if they work and what their range and behaviour is.
