I recently worked on this poster illustration for a series of book reading + film evenings in Munich’s Rationaltheater. Of course I did it completely in Krita (why post is here otherwise?).
I’m not much of a digital painter, so my use of Krita is usually limited to the ink brushes. But I really love the flow of those. It made me want to draw on a computer again.
Since this is a series of events, but we could’t do a new design for each one, we decided to just change the colours each time. My set-up for this kind of thing is relatively simple and involves lots of “colour overlay” layer fx.
