Sometime in December torcado released a tool for rotating/upscaling pixel-art, and the results are pretty amazing.

Using nearest neighbor for rotation generates artifacts that have to be cleaned up and having this as an additional algorithm would help reduce that manual work. It can also be used for upscaling, as seen in the demo.
If you’re interested in more qol features for pixel art please also check out this feature request for pixel perfect brush setting! Krita already has a feature that snaps brush outline to pixels so I’m hoping it wouldn’t be too much to also ask for a few more pixel-art specific features. Thanks so much for reading!
