Color management per display (KDE Plasma, X11)

I have two color-calibrated monitors (under X11, not Wayland) and their profiles are assigned correctly in the KDE Plasma Color Management system settings.
When I open Krita Preferences > Color Management > Display tab, I have the option to either A) Use system monitor profile or B) Assign color profiles manually to each monitor. However:
When I pick A (seems easy, because it’s already set up in KDE), the color profiles that show up in Krita dialog box are swapped, i.e. showing the profile from the other monitor. Even after I swap them manually, Krita will swap them again after restart (looks like a bug).

This is not explained in the Manual: if I check “Use system”, does Krita ignore the settings in the drop-downs below, or will it actually assign and use the wrong profiles each time I open the app? I ended up assigning the profiles manually but when I re-open Krita, it “forgets” the profiles I set up.
