Colors not matching after exporting

I want to share something I’ve noticed happening with my Speed Paint projects. The color of the drawing in Speed Paint changes slightly from the original.
It’s not a complaint; it’s not until you put them side by side that you really realize the differences. Oh, does this happen to you too? The one on the left is the original drawing, and the one on the right is Seed Paint.

Either both pictures are speed paints or non of them are, can’t be both, unless you painted them separately.

Have you checked that both use the same color model and profile? Because if not, that’s usually the culprit when colors mismatch.

To be honest, I don’t know if Krita can configure the color model in Speed Paint. I only export it when I’m finished.

But in drawing, I use the RGB/Alpha model.

I get the feeling you are actually talking about a time lapse, do you? Like when you use the recorder docker? A speed painting is just a painting you painted as quickly as you can.

The color model of the rendered recording might be depended on the codec that is used but I don’t really know.

what exact profile?

Hi, sorry for the delay. This is the type of color profile I use; I don’t usually change it, even when exporting the video.

The most I usually change is the RGB/Alpha model to grayscale.

Looks good to me, the default color space is pretty good for most stuff. My guess it is really because of the codec, as Deevad mentioned in the topic I linked, video color spaces act a bit different so that could be the case. I don’t know if there is something that can be done about it, unfortunately. Perhaps someone else knows. You could try different video formats to see if it makes it better or worse.
