Interesting idea, but what problem does it solve that the current transform mask can’t? I ask in good faith, because with a slightly different scope it could extend the transform mask’s capabilities, for example, pinning child transform masks to a parent so they track its displacement.

While I considered using the transform mask for quick fixes and positioning, I prefer to reserve it for intentional effects. I will play around with transform mask as well.
