I used to work a lot in Illustrator and eventually I moved over to painting programs. I was trying some tutorials for Affinity Designer and I wondered if you could do the same thing with Krita. The answer is yes, but with workarounds. Although Krita has great vector tools for a painting program, to do a strictly vector image you have to get around the limitations. But I thought it would be fun to do the tutorial with Krita. And you can see, you can definitely do vector art work in Krita.

Yes, you certainly can create vector artwork in Krita! I’ve done so myself and It’s fun.

Yes, Krita has a lot of hidden depths. I was recently creating a clock face, and it was super easy using the multi brush tool.
