Custom brush cursor

Hi there!

I would like to request native implementation of Custom brush cursor plugin that i have made.
What does it do?
A plugin that lets the user set a custom image as the cursor when a brush tool is selected to emulate the visual cue of (drawing tablet) pens, better lead the eye and generally help with better cursor visibility.

-

  • The user can change the size, opacity and rotation of the cursor.

  • There is a checkbox for crosshair type cursors.

  • There is a linux artist mode fix.

  • The settings are saved and are automatically loaded via .ini file when the plugin is activated with the button.

  • With the native implementation it could automatically run when Krita is started

The why:

The built-in cursor icons cannot be changed in any way: opacity, size, look. So this already is a limitation from my point of view. Also i just don’t like them and sometimes i lose sight of the cursor or make a mistake because they cover out the work area. So i made this plugin to make it more convenient to control the cursor icon and its appearance. It overall improved my experience when drawing.
A comment from another user:
”Thank you so much for this! As someone with hand eye coordination issues along with color vision issues I keep struggling with the cursers. Now I can set it as something that works for me. This would be a really cute option for streamers/video makers too!”

Therefore i feel(yeah i know  ) that this feature is important enough to request its implementation into Krita natively.
Also when implemented natively,it would work more stable and without possible render issue that would need changing the rendering from the default to OpenGL.

Thank you.
